Protection (GBV, Child Protection)

Protection – encompasses all measures aimed at ensuring the safety, rights, and well-being of individuals in vulnerable situations. This can include various forms of protection such as safeguarding against violence, abuse, exploitation, discrimination, and other threats.

Protection: Child Protection – involves measures aimed at ensuring the safety, well-being, and rights of children, especially those in difficult life circumstances such as conflicts, armed confrontations, violence, abuse, or neglect.

Protection: Gender-Based Violence (GBV) – includes measures aimed at preventing and combating gender-based violence, providing support to survivors, and holding perpetrators accountable. Gender-based violence refers to any act of violence perpetrated against an individual based on their sex or gender identity. This violence can manifest in physical, sexual, psychological, or economic forms.

Shelter and NFI

Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI) – involves providing shelter and essential non-food items needed to sustain the life and health of people affected by emergencies, conflicts, or natural disasters.

WASH

WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) encompasses a range of activities aimed at providing people with access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and hygiene.

WASH plays a critical role in ensuring healthy and safe living conditions during crises or development periods, contributing to improved quality of life and reducing illness among vulnerable populations.
